
Mannheim, renowned as a "UNESCO City of Music", is located in the state of Baden-Württemberg in southwestern Germany. Mannheim is the cultural and economic center of the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region and a historic yet vibrant industrial city. It is home to many renowned international and domestic companies, including ABB, BASF, Daimler, Roche Group, John Deere, Siemens, ThyssenKrupp, and Pepperl+Fuchs. Zhenjiang and Mannheim officially established their sister-city relationship on March 1, 2004. The "Chinese Garden" project, a collaboration between the two cities, is a symbol of their friendship. Hailed as "the largest Chinese garden in Europe", it also serves as a significant base for Sino-German cultural exchange.
